Who is Storage 24 

Storage 24 is a hard-hitting band from the southern state of Mississippi that is quickly making a name for itself in the music industry. The band is known for its unique blend of hard rock, hip-hop, R&B, and self-named "street rock" music that's infused with an intense energy that's hard to ignore. 

The band's name, Storage 24, comes from the storage unit where the band first rehearsed, and it has stuck with them ever since. This humble beginning has allowed the band to stay grounded and maintain their aggressive yet honest roots, even as they continue to climb the ranks of the music world. 

The band is made up of five talented and unique individuals who share a common goal of taking over the rock world. Bobby Rutherford is the band's drummer, providing the backbone and rhythm that drives Storage 24's sound. Phred "Baby Phred" Harley is the band's vocalist, bringing an electrifying and soulful energy to every performance. Matt Phillips holds down the low end as the band's bassist, while Karsten Hilton and Leon Phillips guitar work adds an extra layer of intensity and depth to Storage 24's music.

Behind the scenes, the band is signed to Curtain Call Records and managed by Dawn McIntyre of Massive Media, who has helped the band navigate the music industry and achieve success. 

Despite their diverse backgrounds, the members of Storage 24 have come together to create a sound that's all their own. With Storage 24's passion and drive, there's no doubt that they're destined for greatness in the music world.

Phred "BP" Harley 

Vocals 

Fredrick "Baby Phred" Harley was born on March 25th 19 hundred none of your business! He started out as an R&B singer but eventually found his true calling in rock music, which perfectly matched his wild and energetic personality. Baby Phred is a driven and committed individual who is determined to take rock music to new heights. He is a versatile artist who excels as a vocalist, producer, songwriter, and arranger of music. His ultimate goal is to make Storage 24 a household name and he is tirelessly working towards achieving this dream.

Matt Phillips 

Bass 

Matt Phillips comes from a family of musicians, where he was exposed to music from a young age. His passion for music was ignited after watching his dad play banjo on stage and his grandad perform with his '56 Les Paul. However, it was seeing Kiss on the cover of Metal Edge magazine when he was 15 that truly inspired him to pursue a career in music. Kiss and Aerosmith became his main influences, and he dedicated himself to honing his skills as a musician. 

Over time, Matt joined several bands, including Soul Skard and Black Water Burn. His time with Black Water Burn was particularly significant as it helped him further develop his skills and gain experience. Later on, Matt joined Storage 24, where he has played a vital role in keeping the band's dream alive. His talent and dedication to music have made him an essential part of Storage 24's success.

Karsten  Hilton 

Guitar 

Karsten Hilton was born in Böblingen, West Germany, but moved to the United States with his family when he was just a year old. His parents and grandparents were influential in shaping his musical tastes, exposing him to everything from classical music and big bands to the sounds of Chet Atkins and Les Paul. However, it wasn't until he discovered rock and heavy metal in the mid-1980s that Karsten's musical journey truly began. 

Karsten's musical pursuits began at the age of 9 when he began learning the violin and acoustic guitar. Although he took an 8-year break from music, he later picked up the guitar again and never looked back. Over time, Karsten's love of music has allowed him to play in many bands in various capacities. Although guitar has been his primary instrument, he has also played bass, drums, and served as a vocalist for some bands. He also enjoys playing around on the piano in his spare time. 

Prior to joining Storage 24, Karsten has been part of several bands and has recorded with Beneath the Blood, Black Water Burn, and Adam Echo, to name a few. His vast experience and skillset have made him a valuable addition to Storage 24.

Bobby Rutherford

Drums

Bobby Rutherford's journey as a renowned drummer began when he was just a young boy. At the age of 12, his family moved from Metairie, LA to Jackson, MS where it was his Uncle Arthur's mesmerizing drumming that sparked Bobby's passion for the instrument. 

With his father's support, Bobby received his first drum set as a Christmas gift shortly after, and he spent countless hours learning and refining his skills. Influenced by legendary drummers like Vinnie Paul, Joey Jordison, Iggor Cavalera, Kerim "KRIMH" Lechner, Chris Adler, Mike Portnoy, Neil Peart, and Gene Hoglan, Bobby was driven to excel in his craft. 

Throughout his musical journey, Bobby has been a part of several bands, but one that holds a special place in his heart is Hell's Half Acre. Fond memories of his time with the band continue to inspire him as he continues to make his mark in the music world. 

Today, Bobby Rutherford is recognized as one of the best drummers around, known for his exceptional talent, dedication, and passion for his craft. He continues to push the boundaries of drumming and leaves a lasting impact on the music industry with his unmatched skills and unwavering commitment to his art.
